To do that, we need to move beyond just building great software and become the most trusted educational resource in the industry. We're hiring a foundational Finance Content Writer to build our content engine from the ground up, creating the articles, guides, and resources that will attract, educate, and convert our target audience, directly fueling our next stage of growth.

Roofteller is building the financial operating system for modern landlords. We provide the tools to streamline tenant applications, automate rent collection, and manage rental finances with clarity and confidence. We are an early-stage company laser-focused on solving the core financial pain points that prevent property investors from scaling their portfolios effectively.

What You'll Do


  • Own the Roofteller blog, building it from scratch into the go-to resource for Nigerian landlords.
  • Translate complex financial and property management topics into clear, compelling, and actionable content.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that drives organic traffic and generates qualified inbound leads.
  • Write everything from in-depth guides and product-led articles to case studies and email nurture sequences.
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO to shape Roofteller's brand voice and establish us as a thought leader.
  • Analyze content performance to find what resonates with our audience and double down on what works.
  • Become a true subject matter expert on the financial challenges and opportunities facing property investors.

  • CMS: Webflow, Ghost, or similar modern publishing platforms
  • SEO Tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Google Search Console
  • Collaboration: Notion, Slack

    • Who You'll Report To

    You will report directly to the CEO, working as a key strategic partner in building the company's growth engine.

    What We're Looking For

  • A portfolio of published work in finance, fintech, real estate, or B2B SaaS that demonstrates your ability to write with depth and clarity.
  • Proven experience building an audience or a content program from an early stage.
  • A deep understanding of SEO principles and how to create content that ranks for high-intent keywords.
  • An analytical mindset; you use data to inform your content strategy but have the intuition to create what an audience needs.
  • Exceptional storytelling ability; you can find the human element in financial topics.
  • A proactive and autonomous work ethic. You're comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the prospect of building something new.
  • A genuine curiosity about real estate, investing, and financial technology.
