Company Follows, Custom Alerts, and a Rebuilt Job Board
This period was about giving you more control over what you see and when you see it.
Finding the right role depends on signal, not noise. This period was about giving you more control over what you see and when you see it, from the job board itself to the alerts that land in your inbox.
New builds
A permanent home for our thinking
For candidates and hiring teams: Our writing lived everywhere but on our own site, which meant the thinking behind the product never worked for the product. Laand now has its own blog, guides, and changelog. Everything we build and learn now has a permanent, linkable home.
A daily list of roles that want Proof of Work
For candidates: Most job boards do not distinguish between roles that want a CV and roles that want Proof of Work. We now publish a daily list of new roles that explicitly ask for agency, taste, and ownership, quoting the company's own words. If you want work where execution matters more than keywords, this is the shortest path to it.

All of a company’s open roles in one place
For candidates: There was no single place to see all the roles a company had open across the job board. We have now built a page for every company Laand ingests. You can now see every open role for a given company in one view, whether they are a Laand partner or not.

Follow a company and hear the moment they post
For candidates: You could miss a role at a company you admire because the only way to know they were hiring was to keep checking. Now you can follow a company from any role on the board or its company page. Choose the company open roles you want to track in under Job Alerts in your Career Vault and Laand will email you the same day they post, giving you the advantage of being early.

There's another place to do this.
And that's directly from the rebuilt job board:

Define the exact roles you want to hear about
For candidates: Job alerts were based on what we inferred from your profile, which could be wrong if you were pivoting or looking for a different level. You can now set your own criteria for alerts: the kind of work, seniority, and location. The alerts you receive are now about the roles you actually want, not just the ones we think you want.

Upgrades
A rebuilt job board that uses all your screen
For candidates: The old job board did not make good use of your screen space and had an inconsistent design. The board is now a responsive grid that fills the width of your screen, with a consistent, sharp-edged design. A bug that caused the toolbar to render over the role panel has also been fixed, so you can now see the content you opened.
Careers pages built in Notion now surface correctly
For candidates: Roles on careers pages built in Notion often appeared stale because we could not read a posting date. Laand now correctly dates these roles based on when we first see them. This brings more roles from early-stage companies to the board, accurately marked as new.
Reposted roles now reappear as new
For candidates: When a company reposted a role to get fresh applicants, we kept the original date, making it look old and causing it to drop off the board. We now update a role's date when it is refreshed. You will now see these roles surface again at the top of the board, just as the company intended.
Laand now reads eight more hiring platforms
For candidates: A company you follow could be invisible if they hired through a platform we did not support. Laand now reads eight more hiring platforms, including Teamtailor, Rippling, and pages built in Notion. This makes thousands more roles from a wider range of companies visible on the board and in your alerts.
You now have more ways to find the work you want, and fewer ways to miss it.
Stop applying blind.
Laand scores your fit for any role, then builds the application kit that proves you can do the job.
