An Open Mandate: High-Agency Builder
The Irony of the PDF
We are building Laand to fix the broken, global hiring system. We believe that sending 100s of applications into the void or applying to a job with a static list of bullet points is a relic of a bygone era. It forces brilliant people to beg for attention in an ATS black hole.
It would be deeply hypocritical for us to ask you to submit a PDF to work here.
We don't have a checklist of "required years of experience." We don't care if you have a degree. We don't even have a specific job title for you yet.
We care about two things: Taste and High-Agency.
The Context
Laand engineers full Job Application Kits (JAKs) and is pioneering Job Application Microsites (JAMs) and PitchJAMs. We are handing ambitious professionals the ultimate leverage to bypass HR, articulate a company's hidden problems, and pitch themselves as the undeniable solution.
We are moving violently fast. We are engineering complex SVG animations, orchestrating multi-model AI pipelines (Perplexity + Gemini + OpenAI), and designing interfaces that feel like living, breathing entities.
But we are a startup. Which means we have blind spots. We have unstated problems, unoptimized loops, and features that could be 10x better.
Your Mandate (Show. Don't Tell.)
We want you to PitchJAM us.
We don't want you to tell us you are a great Full-Stack Engineer, a visionary Product Designer, or a ruthless Growth Marketer. We want you to prove it.
Find the Gap: Look at our product, our marketing, our codebase (what you can see of it), or our growth strategy. Identify a specific, expensive problem we haven't solved yet, or an opportunity we are too blind to see.
Build the Arsenal: Don't ask for permission to fix it. Build a prototype. Write a script. Design a new onboarding flow. Code a smoother compiler logic. Create a growth loop model.
The Mercenary Pitch: Put it together into a pitch that shows us exactly what you will execute on Day 1.
How to Apply
Do not send a resume. Do not ask for a quick chat to "learn more about the role."
Send your pitch, your prototype, or your live link directly to our Founder, Victor Eduoh, at [email protected].
If your taste is undeniable and your agency is clear, we will create the role for you.
