Team Workflows, and a World of New Roles
Hiring is now a team sport on Laand, with new workflows in Slack and Google Drive, while our job board now reads roles from every major hiring platform.

October was a locked-in month at Laand.
Our work spanned connecting teams and surfacing opportunities. For hiring teams, Laand is now a collaborative workspace that lives in the tools you already use. For candidates, our job board now reads thousands of roles from platforms and career pages that other boards miss, giving you the first look at your next move.
New builds
For hiring teams: Hire as a team, in the tools you already use
Hiring is rarely one person's decision, but a Laand workspace had only one seat. This forced teams to share logins or work from screenshots. You can now invite two teammates as Admins or Members to collaborate on every Hunt.

To keep your team in sync without adding another app to learn, Laand now integrates with Slack and Google Drive. Each Hunt gets a private Slack channel where your team can review candidates and approve stipends, and every contract draft or 90-day plan is saved to a shared folder in your company's Google Drive.

What this means?
You can monitor and move candidates in Slack without logging into Laand (this has been one my endearing builds so far!):

For hiring teams: Answers you can see and hear
Some work has to be seen to be understood, but Laand assessments only accepted written or spoken answers. This meant you could not see how a candidate handles a difficult conversation or walks through their own code. Assessments can now ask for answers on camera or as a screen share with voiceover. You can hear every recorded answer immediately and unlock the video once you unlock the profile, giving you real Proof of Work before you ever speak to a candidate.

For candidates: Thousands of roles, seen here first
The most interesting roles often live on company career pages and enterprise systems that job boards never read. Laand now reads roles directly from platforms like Avature, Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, Workday, and TalentBrew. We also find roles from the tools startups use, including Breezy HR, Deel, HiBob, JazzHR, Welcome to the Jungle, Recruitee, Pinpoint, Comeet, Manatal, and Zoho Recruit. This brings thousands of previously invisible roles to the job board, complete with Fit Score and reconnaissance.
For everyone: The Laand Hiring Index, live
Reports on the tech job market are often a year out of date. The Laand Hiring Index answers the state of the market every hour. It tracks open roles across functions, shows what is growing, what it pays, and how many employers are asking for high agency versus a traditional resume. Anyone can read it, download the data, or embed a chart.

Upgrades
For hiring teams: Hunts that start right and stay right
A Hunt scoped to the wrong product within a multi-product company produced flawed research that could only be fixed by starting over. You can now specify which product a hire is for, ensuring our research targets the right market, customers, and competitors. Starting a Hunt from a job link is also more reliable, pulling in the role's details from over 30 hiring platforms. Finally, micro-projects are now smarter, combining several problems into a single piece of work that tests for what the High-Agency Assessment does not.
For hiring teams: A clearer view of your pipeline
A dashboard can tell you what happened, but not why. You can now ask Laandbot questions about your hiring data in plain English and get answers from your own pipeline. The Talent Vault now gathers every candidate from every Hunt into a single searchable directory, and the Escrow tab provides a complete history of every stipend paid.
For candidates: A job board that works for you
A stale job board wastes your time with roles that are already closed. Laand now checks every company's careers page about once a day, so closed roles are removed promptly and new roles appear with their freshness shown down to the minute. You will see company logos on every role, and you can save custom filters for your job alerts, which now govern what you see on your dashboard and in your emails.
For candidates: A faster, smarter Job Application Kit
Waiting for a Deep Analysis or Job Application Kit to build was slow and opaque. Both now complete much faster, showing their progress as they build and continuing even if you close the tab. The mock interview is now a real interview: you answer questions out loud instead of typing, getting live feedback on your delivery. Your generated resume and cover letter also now download as pixel-perfect PDF or Word files, ready to send without edits.
For candidates: A clearer path to your next role
Career advice that is not tied to your specific goals is just noise. The courses and tools in Career Growth HQ are now chosen specifically to close the gaps our Deep Analysis finds in your profile for the roles you want. To ensure you never miss a key opportunity, you will now get an email the day a paid Talent Hunt opens in your field. For convenience, you can now sign in to Laand with LinkedIn, not just Google.
These changes are designed to increase the signal in the hiring market. For companies, that means working as a team to find the right person. For talent, it means seeing the whole market and showing your work, not just your resume.

Stop applying blind.
Laand scores your fit for any role, then builds the application kit that proves you can do the job.
